I must say i do know where he's coming from.
I have noticed over the last year or so that people are very quick to condemn anything that doesn't fit in with popular opinion.
I can also tell you that some really good herpers have left this site for that reason and they are sitting back laughing at you guys.
I have also been slapped in the face a few times like this. It is testing.

I suppose it depends on whether or not you think it is ruined or not. My suggestion is that anyone who thinks it is ruined, useless, hopeless, nasty or just plain no good wouldn't be here. So, I guess, that everyone who is here, must think it is the best site just like me

As for some really good herpers sitting back laughing at me, does this worry you? Cos it sure as hades doesn't worry me and it doesn't stop me enjoying myself either.

I've always said it and I'll say it again, You have the best site there is Slatey, thanks for providing us all with many many hours of entertainment, knowledge improvement, fun and enjoyment

Regarding your defence of Matty. He did not needed to be defended we had worked out the difference in civil manner. You just used the situation to have a go on moderators and put the site down werbally.

Regarding your character: I do not know you and I would newer dream to claim this ewer, but if you will keep talking this site down I will delete you instantly. Same like all the other people who did that before. As I said before this site is not suitable for all, people who do not like it here are not welcome. People who would like the site to be run differently should form their own setup. We do have certain rules here and after 2 years of our existence we definitely do not need to be told that we are doing wrong things. If we do moderate bad as you people are complaining, we will be gone. This group of ours is formed to entertain people who like APS and our ways, how we go about it is not your problem.
So please stop complaining about Moderating and APS right now. This is the last warning.

And NoOne; It dos not mean that because you are good herper, you will be welcome in our community. So please live with that.
Leave our APS along. And if it is not good, why you are here?
Personally if on television is bad movie, I am switching to different channel.
You are still here guys so we obviously must do things right here on APS.

I have only one comment to this: Yes I have personal feelings to APS and thanks to hard work of that little few we are running this site to entertain many. We have no need for people to put us down for it.

Slatey i'm not bagging APS, i think the site is great, it's just some of the people need to take other opinions into account instead of just writing them off.
One thing that really gets to me is when someone replies to a question like this "a friend of mine" or "i've been told" or "i heard". This is how bad info gets spread which i'm sure is not the aim of sites like this.

I answer questions from my experience not someone elses and when people say you are wrong because they were told different then it makes you wonder why you bother, i like to help people with herp problems or people wanting to learn more sometimes it doesn't seem worth it.
I also love to learn anything new about reptiles, it's why i do it.

It seems the roles are reversed.

I quite often use, "I have heard" or "I have read" when I'm not absolutely sure or haven't experienced it myself. That way, people know that I'm NOT quoting from experience and can take it with a grain of salt if they want to. I think saying it that way is being more honest than simply stating it as a fact.

Just my opinion, of course - I think I read that somewhere.... :-)

Only what I wanted say in first place here in this topic. Thank you Boconnor for great sevice you did to me by selling me the snakes in great condition. LOL I will recommend you to any buyer in the future and people who are shipping snakes to other states and do not know how to go about it, Pm Boconnor and ask for advice. Best packing I ever received snakes in.

Slateman, I have to say I appreciate your public recommendation in your first post to Boconnor. I may never buy anything or meet anyone that I know through this site, but it's nice to know when people have good experiences with other members. It gives a good background for future reference.

Thanks Vat69. Mabe some sellers will realise how importent is the proply organized shipment with little extra care in packing of the animals to some buyers.
I had snake posted by australia post before in shoe box. I will newer allow this to happen again.

Once again SLATEMAN you have failed to understand what it is I am saying. I was never looking for opportunities as you put it to put the moderators down. I f you bothered to read you would have noticed that I simply expressed my opinion, something which I am sure you agree is a good thing. If you want to lower yourself to making threats then that's fine to. Also if you bothered to read my comments you would also note that I have also siad that I like this site. One of the things I have liked about it is that we are able to express our views which I thought was one of the things You would like everyone to be able to do. I don't particulary care if you threaten to delete me or not but I just know that if you do I will be back again and again with different computers and names because this is a good site. I still can't for the life of me understand why it is that you have jump in with both feet with MY comments and had a go at me when there have plenty of others make similar comments. I never at anytime tried to make this personal but it seems htat there are those who wish to. It is a sad day when we can't give a simple point of view. I leave the decision in your hands I am happy to be a member but you will do what you want. So have a good day.
