Hey guys, theres always threads with pics of other animals, but I haven't yet seen a cat thread (that I remember).

Yes I know, a lot of people on here hate cats, but I also know theres quite a few of you that love cats!

**If you don't like cats, don't bother posting. Anything about cats being snake food, getting shot, hit by cars etc is not funny and not wanted here***

Sorry mod's, I hope this can stay open because I wouldn't mind seeing and hearing about other peoples pet cats! There can be dog, bird, rodent etc threads on here, so I'm HOPING a civil, nice cat thread can stay open.

Here's a few pics I took about 30mins ago :)

Still as yet unnamed kitten

note- no comments if you hate cats please. they're all indoor cats.

Long story short, I now have another kitten... She's a 14wk old ginger + white female. Very energetic, quite crazy, yet still affectionate sometimes. This kitten, her calico sister, tabby older sister, and mother, were all brought in by 'strays' to be euthanised, but I managed to get them all temporary homes, and now they're with permanent owners.

Some names I've narrowed it down to; Zira, Pip, Amber, Jade.... I need to somehow decide by 4.30pm tomorrow, because she's booked in to get her second vaccination and I need to change her name from "Kitten" there haha :)

If anyone has any other ideas, feel free to suggest them!

My other two cats are called "Kit" and "Taz", her sister (with a friend) is called "Jazz" and the mother (with another vet student) is called "Maddie", if any of that helps haha.

It's been a while since i bothered to handle any of my rats let alone the babies as they are food producing animals. My current breeding stock all came from pet animals so they are quite friendly when without bubs. So, i'm thinking, what do i need to do to raise this lot of babies as pet animals? As in, i think i would like to offer the cuties with headspots as pet animals firstly, so want to make sure they grow up happy with people. How much handling should they get? Are there any particular techiniques i should use?
