I did once.... And the Bulb with the probe blew..... Thus no heat...... So the thermostat gives full power to the bulb to try and get it back up... And...

The Imit that your talking about is adjustable I think.... If it is showing on the Dial to be at 30C... And your thermometer is showing 26c.... Then undo the top screw to pull the outer cover...
