Hi geck82, yeah my goldy tail also seems quite happy to carry around her eggs... however she does seem to get a bit defensive when I go near her now, she's even bitten me on a number of occasions....

Also any idea when i can expect her to lay... does anyone have golden tail eggs yet? I'm pretty sure they have mated, on a few occasions I've caught then all over each other and making squeaky noises.

Have you guys ever used a sphagnum moss substrate? I picked up some today from the nursery thinking an all natural substrate might be better for the eggs, any thoughts?

Haha selling them of course, but only in NSW! Unfortunately it is way to complicated and costly to be exporting golden tails from NSW. May also consider trading though for both herps and equipment....

Hmm, not so good for the whole breeding thing then hey. It wouldn't be such a problem except that she is a about a quarter times bigger than he is and as such is getting absolutely dominated.
