I bought about 70adults.. kept them with no heating.. only carrots to get food/water and egg cartons.. in a week I was seeing babies and this was in winter with no heating.. so I dunno how mine bred...

I don't think it is wrong or anything, I know people who let there snakes lizards monitors etc lay around the house with them. When I first got mine I handled mine a fair bit say once a day or so....
