It has. We only have one microchip scanner at the vet where I work and it scans all brands of microchips, new and old.

How old is this mouse? I've seen some runty babies lose most of their hair before. Also some rex (curly coat) mice go through moults...

I treat mine every couple of months with ivermectin. It not only worms them but gets rid of any lice or mites that may have slipped in too.
