It's very dry in the desert, either hot and dry or cold and dry ;) We get temperature extremes. Up to 45 degrees plusin the summer, dropping to sub zero in the mornings during the winter.

I feed my snakes only preservative free rats. When I had lizards, only fresh vegetables and live insects (commercially purchased).
