We used to buy salmon cured with crushed green tree ants, it was amazing. The chef kept the supplier a secret though so I'm not sure where to get it.

It may eat tadpoles when it gets bigger but more likely to feed on mosquito larvae and aquatic insects. And other fish.

It really net food weight vs gross food...

Yes you can use lavender in cooking but i doubt you will get the concentration of oils right to feed to you animals. The oils are toxic. How much is a lethal dose for a 400gm beardy?

Probably not a good idea to feed your herps lavender and rosemary. I'd also be cautious of using them...
