3 year old Male Murray Darling

I have a 2.5 yr old female and would like to get a male for breeding. My female is on the smaller size for her age, but has brillent maroon, black and cream markings. Looking for a nice male.

Are mites a visible thing, I have had a good look at her and could not see anything. I haver also started to warm the enclosure over the past 3 weeks and increased uv light time to about 10 hours....
