it's a keelback. for a new person into snakes it would be best to stay away from them anyway as it's often hard for new comers to tell the difference from a keelback to a rough scale.

That picture is a cape york carpet - jungle, what ever you want to call it, it's the same thing. They have a similar head pattern to jungle's but different colouring .Yearling is a loosely used term...
