We normally feed him thawed mice. The pet shop we get the mice from only had smallish mice so we thought we would see how he went with a live one. He enjoyed it. Made for a good photo too.

It didn't smell funny before he ate it. It was very slimmy but didn't smell when it came up. He is his normall happy self today. We have had him out for about 10 minutes then we put him back.

Thanks, we will be keeping a close eye on him for anything that is not part of his normal behaviour. It may have something to do with he was out longer than normal and it is a bit cooler her tonight....
