when my dog was a puppy he was swooped by a kookaburra.. he swooped just as he walked under a small shrub though luckily!
Hes a maltese x cavalier king charles spaniel so he was like a little fluffy...

i had an adult spotted (bout 1.5m) latch onto my hand and really chew in whilst wrapping round my hand..
Stayed on for bout 10mins, finally let go after repeatedly blowing in its face and i guess it...

if she is going into a shed the enclosure might be to dry.. so mist it with water and that should make it easier to shed properly
