Nathan, they will start hatching at the end of november/beginning of December.

The numbers available are definetly increasing. So far this season I know of 11 clutches that have been bred ... and that only the people I know/have heard about. Even if hatch rates are only 50%...

Moisten a patch in both ends. That way your female has a choice where she wants to lay. After a while you'll get used to where each female prefers to lay (depends on temperature a lot).

She's looking for somewhere to lay her eggs. Offer a lay box that is around 5" deep and she will start digging. Its normally less than a week from the time they stop eating until they lay.

Dont know about perlite sticking less, but I have found that the surface feels drier but still contains enough moisture to keep the eggs plump. I feel that it would be more tolerant of moisture level...
