Hi everyone,
I thought i ask how other people are heating enclosures for jungle pythons. I have a brand new enclosure i am setting up and i keep changing my plans and second guessing myself. It has spot lamp in it at the moment but is that enough? I see people also using heat cord but that would need another thermostat as well.
My little guy has gone from a heat mat 24/7 to soon his new home. Most perople would run timers i would think but being a noob can i ask what hours it should run in summer and winter? Summer here is often over 40deg and winter we get -4 some nights overnight so i thought 12-14hrs during summer and maybe 6-8hrs during winter?
If people are running heat cord and a lamp together can you explain how you do it please?
