Look for good first lizard

Hello I am looking for a lizard that would be a good first reptile any suggestions would be a massive help I would prefer one that enjoys being held but if that is not an option it will be fine thanks

Blue tongues, or bearded dragons are the best for beginners

None of them “enjoy being handled”

But they will tolerate it better than other speciex

Sleepy Lizards/Shinglebacks get used to/tolerate being handled pretty easily too. At least from the ones I've dealt with over the years.

I would get a bluetongue because food and handling is very easy with a bluetongue when you first start with lizards
