If you want a kitten as a pet, try the Cat Protection Society, RSPCA, Animal Welfare League, etc.

Go to the pound and save one from being put down.

Buy her a rabbit and tell her you misunderstood......afterall, a baby rabbit is a kitten.

When she doesn't want it feed it to a snake. Its her fault, you got her the kitten she asked for and the snake got fed.

Loving home right there.

I love my animals, and next year will happily be forking out around $2000 to get myself a devon rex and bengal kitten.

And $50 is going to be a pretty standard price to get yourself a kitten, as pounds/shelters usually charge that much as the kittens will have been desexed/vet checked, thats just the cost to cover that. Or keep an eye out in the your classifieds, I always see ads for giveaway kittens.
