Hi there,
Sad story to tell, I had wanted a children's python for a looooong time, and finally was in the situation last year to get set up & buy a hatchling, loved her madly, till she stopped eating and I took her to the vet and found out she had a heart defect and she died shortly after  .
Am now ready to start again, but would prefer an older animal, sub adult to adult as I think it would be easier. Am not concerned what sub species, or whether it is a breeder etc, I just want a nice pet for myself & my 5 year old son, therefore I would prefer it to not be very snappy.
I have a wonderful large melamine set up in my loungeroom, its just missing an occupant.
I live in Newcastle, but am prepared to drive to Sydney for the right animal.
Hope someone out there can fix my broken heart!!!!
