Hmm.. I thought I submitted this thread, but now it's gone...
I'm after a female button quail.
I used to have a male female pair, but the female died. Now the male squawks all night looking for a mate.
The male and female look(ed) like the brown and grey (respectively) ones in the picture below
I'm located close to Sutherland.
If I can't find a (known) female then we'll probably give the male one away.
