WTB juvenile children's python

this will be my first snake so starting with something small (and hopefully not massively expensive). i've been quoted $280 for a baby, and around $300 for the initial setup with heat pad and all the bits and pieces.

does this sound reasonable? does anyone have a childrens for less? i'm in western sydney (blacktown).

cheers

You should be able to get a hatchling childreni for around the $200 mark or maybe even less.

Setup for a hatchling should cost less than $100, and more than half of that would be the heat mat.

There's a meeting of the Macarthur Herp Society tonight (Friday) in Campbelltown. There'll be plenty of people there who can help you and answer any questions. Details in this thread
MacHerps Friday night

I'm selling my stimmies for $180 and they usually cost more than childreni.
Even with freight it would still be less.

i know it's very superficial but... are stimsons usually a bit prettier than childrens? still deciding exactly what i'm after - i've just done a google image search but theres a lot of variation in colouring.

anyone got pics to compare?
