Wanting use Pine to build frame for drawers?

Wanting use Pine to build frame for drawers that will be external to enclosure. The enclosure will be sealed melamine sitting ontop of the base with a drawer. Ad the Pine will be painted black and only used as a frame fir some drawers and not inside the sealed enclosure I'm assuming it, will be ok. Is this correct?

You will have no problem with pine, it has no fumes. I have built several enclosures for my dragons from pine. My dragons have lived in these enclosures for many years so you will have no problems using it outside
