Ok so I've been building my melamine enclosure (1200x595x595)
I'm using safety glass for the 'viewing' area on the front (1200 long 595 wide)
the enclosure is fairly heavy so far and i want to reinforce the structure by just building a frame of sorts atm all I have is pine but if i paint and seal the pine will the snake be ok with it? also is Indonesian hardwood (cheap ****) ok for snakes?
If the answer is no for the pine then what would you suggest to use for a frame (also building it to keep the glass stable).
Where would you suggest the vents be placed? (assuming the hot end is far left cold end is far right with the heat source being a ceramic heat emitter on the roof) I was thinking one vent at the top of on the far left and one at the very bottom of the far right (cold air gets in hot air can get out allowing the hot air to not heat the entire box to the same temp)
Any help would be great.
