I didn't know mozzies had taste for cold blood.
Has anyone seen mosquitos feeding on snakes?

Wow Thats very interesting Michael.
I have never seen it before, but come to think of it ticks also like snakes so maybe it is common.

Thanks for sharing.

I dont think it would taste as good a our blood:/
i guess you wont be giving some mozzy spray a go :p

True. Mozzies feed on frogs too. I am bit slow today. :)

Very niteresting. I haven`t seen that before but have caught a cockroach eating snake poo still trying to find out how it got into the enclosure

Certainly interesting, the thing that gets me is do the snakes get itchy?

I have seen a picture of a mozzie feeding on a crocs head so I guess they are not fussy when it comes to the temp of their meal.

I think you need to read the Cairns Post today Michael. Page 40 in the cartoon section It's a Jungle out there. You will get a clear insight into why mozzies bite snakes.

Wow.. I have never seen a mosquito on any reptile, however it does make sense to stop and think about it as any reptile is susceptible to ticks and mites.
