his tank is at 40 degree's.. he aint cold ...... i have been feeding him by hand for months .... has never bitten me even from day one ..... hisses some times.... but thats the worst it gets ..... some nights he even sits on my lap while i watch tv
Nice looking Bells. 40c is too low as a hotspot, you should have it up around 60c+(25c as an ambient). You'll notice a marked difference in his attitude toward food and I personally wouldn't be offering "finger foods" when you supply correct temps. If in doubt, check out some of crocdoc's youtube vids of young Lacies feeding, that's the food response your looking for from a properly heated Lacie.
yeah ive seen the vids of them going crazy .... his air temp at hot end is around 40.... cool end is around 26 and basking is about 55-60 depending on the temp of the house....
I guess if he does bite me then i'll learn my lesson ... but untill then im liking feeding him by hand ...
dont think im not taking ur info onboard ..... I just always have and will seem to learn the hard way!
But cheers for the Info ....
