Been using them for years and never had that problem, Marzy...
Anything emmitting heat should not be in contact with the plastic bits at all - make sure it's only on the mesh.
Really like the exo brand i have a few of there terrariums I'm always happy to pay that bit extra for them.
The only thing that is frustrating to me is how crickets hide in the gap between the top mesh and back wall and if you don't use substrate they get in the holes down the bottom. I guess with how well exo present and the overall finish of there product I would like that problem solved without me having to find something to wedge in the gaps.
Same here cheapest and arrived with no problem!I've always found the best way to purchase Exo terra enclosures is from Aust. based online rept. suppliers.
There's no shop mark-up & even with the added cost of postage, it's still reasonably cheaper than from a pet shop.
Yes, I know there's a concern regarding a glass enclosure shipped through the post, but I've ordered at least 4 Exo Terra & none of them have ever arrived damaged.
I keep my marms in them.
I paid $180 for a new 60H x 45 x45 over twelve months ago.
I have noticed that supplier has upped the price since then.
