Panoptes or Gouldii?

Rescued from a fence this morning, with a waiting cat on one side and a dog on the other, in Townsville. Released into a nearby creek parkland.

I think he's V. panoptes but would like some other opinions

Theres no positive record of goudii there. Well of all the 50 odd goannas ive seen there.
All panoptes and lacies.
