So i bought my stimsons as a hatchling a few weeks ago and when buying it noticed its odd eye (sorry for bad pics it kept moving) it doesnt seem comfortable with me being on that side of its head but otherwise acts normal and is excellent at eating.

I was just wondering if anyone knows whats wrong (tbh i think it only has one eyelid on that eye) and if its blind/ how it will affect it growing up.

Blindness doesn’t affect snakes at all but can make them more jumpy
I would get it checked out by a reptile vet because there could be something internally going on

I’ve seen a ball python that hatched with no eyes easily feed and grow :)

Looks like a reptile version of a lazy eye ! Haha

Go get it checked out :) if possible get a dedicated reptile vet.
