On my 5yr moreilla bredli
.. i have discovered a hooked spine on either side of her body near her cloaca. What are they?
 
Yup! They are vestigial organs meaning they are the remnants of legs :)
In some species males actually use the spurs to ‘tickle’ the females and see if there ready for breeding.
It’s more common for them to be bigger in males than females :)

Yes there’s spurs,boa constrictor males are quite sharp sometimes,this is one of my breeders snakes using them on the female
