Spines near cloaca

On my 5yr moreilla bredli
.. i have discovered a hooked spine on either side of her body near her cloaca. What are they?

‘Spurs’.
I believe they are remnant legs.

Yup! They are vestigial organs meaning they are the remnants of legs
In some species males actually use the spurs to ‘tickle’ the females and see if there ready for breeding.
It’s more common for them to be bigger in males than females

Yes there’s spurs,boa constrictor males are quite sharp sometimes,this is one of my breeders snakes using them on the female

Yep, male's spurs a generally more noticeable that females though.
