Uv not required and heating yes/no. I keep mine without heat but im in sunny Queensland, but they do not require as high heat as other geckos, probably only a hot spot like 28 maximum. My guys are still happily running around and the tank temperature is only 19-20 degrees some nights
 
ok cool. i wasnt sure. their tank is sitting on top of my snake enclosure so they have been getting a little heat but i will increase it now :)
 
i wouldnt bother....
whats the ambient temps in the room where they are?
and being on the snake enclosure is more than likely adequate enough!
 
I use to keep mine on a heat crod i just did 2 runs along one end and one side as i was keeping them in storage contrainer. They bred and seemed fine with that amount of heat
 
Mine are kept in a container with sand on heat cord.
