Hi, I have just recentaly made a enclosure out of Malemine and to fill the gaps I used "Bostik Acrilic gap filler". Its good for me because it is white, and it is not runny like most acrilics.

To seal the main surfaces use a 50/50 mix of wood glue and water and then paint it and use no more gaps to seal joints (as it can be painted)

what type o paint ie enamal acrilic oil ????

All you need do is to use a good acrilic undercoat first and then
finish with 2-3 coats of semi gloss acrilic in a color that you like
and it will look good and last you a very long time.
