turtle size???

hi
just wondering how big a turtle should be to be put into a pond?
i have a nice pond with high walls and even has a lid (which i use during major storms)

a person has offered me 2 murray short necks that are 7cm...
are they big enough for my pond?

i think most people keep them inside until they are fully grown. or atleast until they are 20cm.

Yep, I'd keep them inside for a while longer. It sounds like they are only young juveniles if their carapace is 7cm. They need to grow a bit more yet. Sounds like they will have a good enclosure in the future.
