Ive had a specialist permit for Black Cockatoos and Kookaburras.Both times a inspection was done and had a bit of a chat about the species and no worries.

Black Cockatoos & Kookaburras aren't venomous though. There is a special requirement mentioned on the application for a class 3 if you are going to keep venomous snakes that you must provide a first aid certificate and evidence that you have completed a handling course. I can't imagine that they would circumvent these requirements.
