Whats this is it an Inland Taipan or mulga

Looks like an inland taipan to me, but i'm no expert on elapids.

It was at Tibooburra well near Tib

Near Cameron corner in the very north west of NSW

Ur in the right area but it i don't think it is a fierce. It's some kind of brown, which one i can't be 100% but most likely a gwardar.

im no expert but western brown comes to mind

Western Brown Snake. Have seen alnost identical snakes from Bourke, Wanaring through to Tiboobura. Everyone confuses them with the Fierce Snake in north Western NSW.

Are you aware that they have split the western brown into multipl;e species?
and yes even the experts mixed the new taipan with a western brown

I will be my house on that its not Oxyuranus...its one of the Western Brown complex most likely aspidorhyncha or mengeni
