This is why alot of the knowledgable and old time herpers don't waste their time on here anymore
 
gotta admit they are stunning ....never been to the iron ranges ...but i always asumed it would be very thick with vegetation...have been far north QLD and thought it would be rainforestry like the Dain or somewhere like that ..unless its just the picture itself ...

As for the pic being fake i'll admit the left side of it where its wrapped around the branch looks like a cut and paste job but on the other hand it's more likely to be the massive contrast between the snakes bright green and the darker colour of the branch, so i thinks its a legit photo.

I mean if i saw one in the wild i wouldn't believe my eyes either ;P
 
Geez, really.. why would it be a fake? They are actually pretty abundant if you happen to be within their very limited range, just hard to see...
