female beardie digging

hi,

I have a male and female bearded dragon approx 9 months-12 months old. they are kept in an enclosure with a pellet like substrate floor. the female is a regular digger while the male wouldnt dig if his life depended on it. is it possible that the female is wishing to lay eggs or should I not be to concerned about her behaviour. thanks in advance

way too young to be readey to lay eggs...

my adult female always did it and had never seen a male in her life

or she could be cooling down and digging herself in to get a spot to sleep in
