ok, so i need someone to come out & quote me on getting my stumps fixed.

what do you call the people that fix them eg; contractors? i have been searching the computer for ages & keep getting stump removal. help please!!

they are called piers and a carpenter should be able to help you out or find a pier specialist!!

i know its an expensive job but unfortunalty it has to be done. looking around 10k.

l used to do that for a living . Get quotes and references , lots of dodgy reblockers [ restumpers ] around .

depends on what stumps you are going to use to ...wooden ,steal or concrete...hubby is a chippy and he reckons its a @#$#@! of a job to do ...lol goodluck and as was said dont get ripped off!

do it yourself mate, car jack, tape mesaure, spirit level, sledge hammer couple of saws.

deccide weather your gonna use timber again or use masonry blocks it.

and get into it one at at a time.

spend the money you save on a pair of chondros
