hi all
im planning on using styrofoam blocks to build up a land area in some fish tanks (will cover in rock but mainly to keep the weight down) and was wondering if a pond sealer would be sufficient to coat the foam and stop any chemicals leeching out??

ive been wondering this to. i wanted to make a hide/land for my crock. was thinking of coating with cement or tile groat. any one know if this will add to the chemicals?

get the plastic egg crates from bunnings or hydro shop... easy to build structures, stronger, non toxic, allows for water flow, provides housing, and can be taken apart and re used to make different landscapes.

fix together with plastic ties.
