Question about Licensing

Hey guys just a quick question about licensing in NSW. I was reading on this forum that you cant sell a reptile within 6 months of being purchased, is that true, not that i want to sell any reptiles but it seems wierd to have this rule?

thats correct, Its there to prevent people dealing in reps on a private licence

Is it legal to sell retiles that you have bred or do you need a special license for that ?

If you wish to sell a reptile that you have bought from someone else you must have held it for a least 6 months. It is illegal to do otherwise. I think this is a pretty good rule because helps prevent people dealing in native wildlife.

The law does not apply to any animals that you have bred yourself.
