nice stuff jason, its great your getting some results with them,be good to see them develop in captivity, beautiful monitors

Thanks Richardsc!
We are building up our 2 localities of KRMs so we can establish them in captivity.
It would be a shame not to establish them first in captivity.
They breed well so when there are a few herpers breeding then, they will quickly spread across collections.
The banded type is not going to be available for a few years, but we are releasing to many patient herpers, the normal form this year.
They are quite friendly & we can handle ours well.

Hi Jason,

I'm a bit confused as to where the banded type are from. I was led to believe the NT/WA border (Bullo River area), but have since been informed, by a well informed and highly respected reptile breeder, that they are the Kakadu form (which I believed to be a spotted, more blue/ yellow animal) . Can you confirm this?

Cheers,

Richard.

I'm more of a snake person, but those monitors look great, especially the patterning. Congrats Jason!
