Went there looking at plumbing supplies,came out with this little guy.I showed the staff then took him home and let him go in the backyard with the rest of the critters that call our place home.

i found a little guy like that in a pallet of bricks that came from taree
 
What a gorgeous little snake. gts are one of best looking snakes in Oz i reckon. Will get some when move from WA.

Lucky find, esp for snake if found near shovel section in hardware store hehe

I have heard of a Green Tree Python, but not a Green Tree Snake.
Are they the same thing? and if not, what is the difference between them?
Pardon my ignorance, still got my "L" plates on :p

The green tree python lives in the Morelia classification...whilst the Green Tree snake lives in the Collubrid classification.

"A Complete guide to reptiles of Astralia" by Steve Wilson and Gerry Swann is a good book for reference...I can see one on Ebay starting at $26 (plus postage) whereas in the shops they start from $50.
