little fishys in water feature

just wondering what kind of small fish is best to put in my young ewds water feature?

any ideas would be great, i really dont mind if he eats them so something preferably not to expensive

Rosy barbs or danios

Get a heap of native gudgeons. Plenty of places down there stock them as feeders.

Any feeder fish sold locally to you.
I buy feeder fish for my Water Skink ponds. They are usually a mix of Platies, Sword Tails, Guppies and sometimes Mollies. Anything not attractive enough to sell at full price. For my needs I just ask them for the smallest ones so my Water Skinks can handle them.

the heat in your ewd enclosure should be fine.

just double checking as the water feature is at the cool end of the enclosure

i would recommend catching them from your local creek if you can, and if you EWD eats them treating it regularly for worms. better than getting them from the shop and running the risk that they have been treated for some illness with chemicals that WILL KILL YOUR EWD IF IT EATS THEM. Just a thought...
