Just thought I'd share the little miracles I witnessed last week in my outdoor enclosure. Now I know where that girl laid her eggs! 10 from first hole on the Friday, 10 from 2nd hole on Saturday

Not something u see everday - enjoy:)

well done i have had stuff hatch naturally spun me out too.

What an awesome site. Beats peeping in the incubator every few days a hatchie time. Well done.

Thats amazing, definately a site for sore eyes :)
Thanks for the pics

Thanks guys! But I honestly didn't mean for them to hatch - I have enuf babies I got from the incubator:lol:. This girl was one that I could never find her eggs, & I remember digging up that whole patch in an effort to find them, & I figured they's just dry out & die. So yes, it blew me away, & to be home, up there, & witness it was amazing!

20 all up over 2 days. Have no idea how many eggs were laid though. After seeing them come out, it's amazing there's any wild ones survive at all, they looked like a real easy meal:lol:

That really is awesome. You were so lucky to see it and get pics. I'd love to know how many eggs were layed! Beats the stress of looking after eggs.

I'd love to pick your brain on feeding the hatchies.

I've been thinking of digging it up & seeing what's there re eggshells, but finding the time:rolleyes:
There's an awful lot of people on here that seem to have heaps of experience with hatchies that u could ask.
Biggest thing I reckon is not to stress too much about them, relax with it. If you've any that don't seem to be eating as much, distract the others with food then pop some food right in front of these little ones so they don't have to fear moving. How much they 'should' be eating, & how much they do actually eat are sometimes 2 very different things - be it more or less:lol:.
