Skink ID help?

Could someone please ID this skink I found today, not the best shot but they were quite flighty.
Was rufly 60mm long and found 1 hour west of Newcastle near Singleton.

Thanks heaps, I googled info on them and it seems that I have seen a male in breeding colours before as well.
My Steven Swanson Field Guide to Australian Reptiles does not have them in it, hence the reason I was baffled at what it was!!
