Ok.... so I am New snake owner.... I have some questions..

My Bredeli is approx 50cm (Aspen)
he feeds very well on pinky Rats... how do I know when to give him bigger ones?
I feed him one a week, should I offer him more than one?

how often will he shed?

He lives in a plastic tub in my reptile enclosure- it seems small.. would he prefer more space?

Thanks in advance

Sami

Sami - At 50cm he could definately be taking Fuzzy Rats - possibly slightly larger - the food item should leave a noticeable lump in the stomach of the snake...

Once per week is fine provided the food size increases as he grows.

Shedding depends on growth rate - the quicker he grows - the quicker he will shed. ROUGHLY every two months is average...

I cannot comment on the enclosure size as I cant see the snake or the enclosure.

Ok thanks fornthat guys... will try him on slightly bigger rats...
the enclosure is approx 20X40X20cm.

is there a geberal rule of thumb on size... I was unders the understanding juvi snakes like a smaller enclosure that they feel safe in. :)

Yep the snake should be moved to bigger enclosures as it grows :)

hes fine in his click clack for now judging by his size. not for much longer though
any photos of the full enclosure?

This is the full enclosure its 4ft and my beardy lives in there... its 30degree's. I have a heat rock I can pop in with the snake but assumed being in the encolsure in the click clack would be warm enough.
