We finally got our big girl out of her tub and into her new enclosure. She's able to fully stretch out for the first time and seems to be loving it :D

Yeah, we think she is stunning. She is around 170cm and 2kg so we will be breeding her in 2011.

An almost 2m snake in a tub where it has lived its life not being able to stretch out. People wonder why cage size laws might be/will be coming in, in the eastern states. I can see the merit in keeping hatchies even juvies in click clacks for raising purposed, especially by breeders with many snakes.

Nice looking snake anyway.

Hey Noxious, we purchased this snake as a adult that had been kept in a tub at the breeders, we kept her in a tub here while she's has settled to her new home. Her tub was not small, they come in rather large sizes and she was in a large under bed storage type. She now can stretch out and seems as happy as we are with the new home.

Nice comment anyway.

I understand people use tubs as a temporary enclosures for new snakes. That's fine.

You said that she could stretch out for the first time. Which didn't sound like such a good thing.

Good work on getting it into an enclosure now. Looks good. Best of luck with the snake in the future.
