Hey guys, general discussion about legless lizards. i am thinking of buying one, i like burtons but i can't buy them as i live in Victoria anyone own legless lizards? :?

In Vic we can keep legally obtained animals of the following:
Delma australis, Delma inornata, Western and Eastern Hooded Scaley-foots, Burton's and Common Scaley-foots.

I'd recommend either of the scaley foot species as they have very similar husbandry needs to geckoes like knob-tails, so they're very easy to maintain in captivity.
Burtons have a specialized diet (skinks and geckoes) so I wouldn't recommend them unless you have a ready supply of small lizards, or are confident in assist feeding pinkies.

Yes, Burton's are legal but it is illegal to feed them their normal diet so it would be way to hard!
