hi peeps!
so in my area in adelaide it gets super hot in summer like 47 degrees out of the shade and 45 in the shade with heat waves of 38+ for a min of 10 days straight. so i was wondering, when i get my beardie if i take him outside and let him roam say around 10am would i need to bother with a heat/UV lamp in summer? i'm unemployed so i have a bucket load of free time so i could do it.

at night it can vary from 25-30 degrees but i put my tower fan on as i'm hypersensitive to the heat :x
i want to get all this sorted before i get him. winter won't be a problem at all i've heard of people just using an ordinary desk lamp sitting on the enclosure top and using that?

cheers:D

As long as its for a couple hours at a time, it shouldnt be a problem.
Just try do it everyday.. You could even make a temp outside enclosure if you wanted.

Desk lamp would suffice, or even a spot bulb from bunnings would do too. you can just about use anything to get to the certain temps that are required.
