Totally. I would not pay anywhere near $1000 each for them! $1000 for a pair would be too much IMO also.

Do a search on 100% hets and have a look at what they have been going for lately.

If you wanted to start your own rpm cross that thing project to bring in albanism into it in about 6 years or so then they could be worth maybe 50 bucks each or so.

Why dont you get 2 Het Darwins? They are only a few hundred dollars each, sometimes cheaper.

This way, you will be guaranteed to produce approx 25% albinos. Also they will be 'pure' which will probably increase their value.
