i use cricket containers for my beardies. damp vermiculite substrate with eggs half buried. aired once or twice a week. always maintaining condensation on the side of the containers only, none on the lid.
never tried anything else because i've always had a 100% hatch rate with this method.

mine are wide open [why not] are they sealed in the wild [no] well why do it artificially [i use water as a substate]....can anybody give me a logical reason why they seal them apart from someone else does it....cheers solar 17 [baden]

I do use a lid on my containers but it is in NO WAY air tight. Again I use the water and rack method.

The other night I left a roll of cling wrap outside, it disappeared, maybe a carpet wanted to wrap her eggs.

I put a whole at substrate level on each container but open them regular anyway.
