I was wondering when the (general) period of hatchling availability for most pythons was. I know that they mate during the colder months and that they would hatch during the summer/warmer months, so what is the time frame that breeders generally advertise hatchlings? I know I missed out on this season, but I plan on getting an antaresia in the next one. Being new, I'm pretty ignorant of these things. :?

well dont be..... get in contact with some breeders on this forum and email around to get information

im pretty new on the grand scheme of things but i just looked up some breeders and found a breed that i liked and got it. the breeders will help you with pretty much everything you need to know. Plus you can google heaps of info and read heaps of books

i'm sure there would still be a few available now, and a few more will pop up over the coming weeks..
some breeders will still be getting there hatchies established i would say, and some may still be hatching..
fun time of year is now!

There are still plenty available or soon to be available. It is hatching time pretty much right now so give it a few weeks for the breeders to get them feeding and shedding and they will be filling the for sale forum.

in no way are you too late, its only just starting

i have spotted and childrens hatchlings for sale. just look around mate, you are definately in the perfect time to get them

Thanks for the response everyone! I might still wait until next year - I want to hold out for exactly what I want and maybe do a little more snooping around the herp world in the meantime. Thanks again!
