Pinkie Rats for Bearded Dragon?

Hi All,

I have two adult bearded dragons and i know they can eat pinkie rats so my question is are pinkie rats just a treat or can you feed them on a daily basis or every couple days?

My dragon loves pinkies, not sure whether it is just a treat, but I do know that it helps with calicium due to the pinkies having bones. I feed my dragon two pinkies a week.

Pinkies are very high in fat so should only be fed as a treat.

i would only as a treat. i think insects and veg/fruit with calcium powder should be their stable.

I generally feed more pinky's to those beardies on the lean side, and less to the porky's. no more than 1 a week to the skinnys, and then once a month when theyr chunkier.

I feed as a treat, if it's a she and she's gravid or has just laid, I feed one every one to two weeks...
